I absolutely adore learning the history of a city both good and not so good occurrence which helped to shape its modern day society. While visiting Richmond near Halloween, of course it was only fit to learn about the cities chilling stories from the past filled with murder, mystery, and mayhem. Our tour did not disappoint! Our tour guide Jeffery, is quite a history buff and is well prepared to share all the stories about Richmonds past, including Settler disasters, Slave trade, Greedy Merchants, Sadistic psychopaths, Ghosts, vampires, and more.

Great Richmond, VA history, along with some pretty spooky stories. Our tour guide, Lena, clearly knows about the capital's darker side, and did an admirable job of sharing the creepy details body snatching, collapsing tunnels, feline specters, etc. We ended up at the Poe Museum just as the antique gaslight came on. How's that for ghostly timing? 👻 Thanks, Lena!
